    I. Power drive and energy supply

    ‌Diesel engine power core‌

    The main diesel engine directly drives the mud pump and auger system to ensure the continuous operation capability of mud cutting and suction; at the same time, it drives the AC generator to provide power and lighting support for the entire ship.

    The generator set powers emergency equipment (such as control systems and communication equipment) during shutdown to ensure the safety and continuity of operations.

     

    ‌Hydraulic system control‌

    The auger, bucket wheel and other excavation devices are driven by efficient hydraulic motors, and the cutting and crushing of mud of different hardness are achieved through precise control.

     

    II. Mud excavation and processing

    ‌Efficient excavation mechanism‌

    The cutter suction dredger stirs the riverbed mud by rotating the auger, and forms vacuum suction with the centrifugal pump to quickly suck the mud into the pipeline;

     

    The chain bucket dredger uses a continuous bucket chain to dig hard mud deep into the bottom of the water, which is suitable for port channel maintenance.

     

    ‌Separation and transportation of mud and sand‌

    The mud pump transports the mixed mud to the designated area (such as land reclamation or storage yard) remotely through the mud discharge pipe, and some models support temporary storage of mud and sand in the cabin.

     

    III. Operation assistance and safety assurance

    ‌Positioning and stabilization device‌

    The traverse device and the cutter frame lifting device ensure the precise positioning and stable operation of the hull in complex waters; the self-propelled dredger realizes autonomous movement through the propulsion system to improve the flexibility of operation.

     

    ‌Ship crane collaborative operation‌

    The ship crane quickly transfers the excavated mud and sand or stones to the transport ship to improve the dredging efficiency, and cooperates in the treatment of pollutants or large obstacles; auxiliary equipment such as deck cranes support equipment maintenance and component replacement.

     

    IV. Environmental adaptation and function expansion

    The ship engine design takes into account a variety of working conditions: for example, the cutter suction dredger is suitable for long-distance transportation, and the rake suction dredger is suitable for self-propelled operation in open waters; modular equipment such as anchor rods and trolley devices can be expanded to meet different engineering needs.

     

    Note: The ship engine system needs to be adjusted according to the type of dredger (such as suction dredger, chain bucket dredger) to achieve efficient dredging and resource utilization.
